Kuala Lumpur’s Chief Police Office today vehemently declared that BERSIH must have a holy police permit first before they can organize the gigantic mass rally scheduled on the 10th of November. MalaysiaKini has more on this story.
We had expected as much. I guess some folks within the government have been pi*sing in their expensive pants after hearing that BERSIH’s mass rally is getting a lot of attention from all Malaysians. Lucky for them, they have the police to ‘help’ them. :-)
This is another classic Broadway drama in the making folks!
We know the scripts all too well. Do not be surprised if the police would not approve BERSIH’s application to hold a public rally once they have submitted it. Wonder what their excuse would be now.

In the last Pantai Buruk incident, they said that the venue was not suitable. Maybe they would give the same old silly excuse this time. If they do that, I would never ever forgive them!

BERSIH! I hope you folks have some kind of a contingency plan in place just in case the police would give us their big No-No. You folks should consider holding the mass rally in a big football stadium like what our Indonesian Khilafah groups had done for their International Khilafah Conference on the 12th of August this year in Jakarta. It would be more appropriate to hold such a big event within the compound of huge a stadium. At least the huge crowd of supporters and SB plainclothesmen would not disturb traffic and our pathetic public transportation system. Do give it a thought, BERSIH!
