Everybody is picketing nowadays, what is going on?

Folks!

Funny, eh… It seems that everybody is keen on picketing or protesting something nowadays.

Why? Is there something in our food that makes people very unhappy?

Maybe Malaysians had too much Indian food or ‘char-koay-teow’ perhaps. :-)

We all know about BERSIH’s super big mass rally, now we have another big picket of some sort. This time it is organized by NUBE, National Union of Bank Employees. It is even reported in the StarOnline (MalaysiaKini too) today!

Let’s not talk about what they were fighting for here today. We all know about their pickets and demands all too well. They have been doing that for months now and yet their employers pay little attention to their demands.

Figures!

Sorry to say this but they could be fighting a pointless battle. Their demands for better wages and COLA allowances if entertained could lead to a nationwide crisis. If their employers gave in to their demands, other labor rights organizations such as MTUC would then continue their fight and demands for the rest of our employees in the private sector.

Bad news for Barisan Nasional the greatest!

The filthy rich plus extremely greedy business community and the government knew this and they are committed to not let this happen. Just look at the world’s friendliest Human Resources Minister Dr. Fong Chan Onn for an example, what has he done to help our poor employees in the private sector? He only gave more excuses here and there and MTUC knew this better than anybody.

NUBE, you can continue your struggle if you like and we ordinary Malaysians would not stop you. Keep on pressing them. Who knows, they might just give in to your demands and that would be great for every poor Malaysians in the long run.

The best way to help poor Malaysians is of course by toppling Barisan Nasional in the next general election. The banishment of Barisan Nasional will stop the filthy rich and extremely greedy business community from capitalizing on our poor Malaysians once and for all. Only then we are able to set up a government that is not only people-friendly but also business-friendly.

No more ‘dacing’ folks!
