Have you folks read NST’s news posting where UMNO’s tough guy Dato’ Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz said something about our Yang di-Pertuan Agong and the Chief Justice?
If not, please go and read it now for it is very interesting. Unfortunately, MalaysiaKini has not said anything about this as of time of writing. Maybe they would have something later today.
Anyhow, it is interesting to take note that our Malaysian Bar Council has republished NST’s story in their website. All ready I can see that some people are not too happy with Nazri Abdul Aziz’s latest classical antic. Feel free to check out what they have said about it, folks.
By the way Nazri, are you sure that our Yang di-Pertuan Agong can only act on the advice of the prime minister in matters concerning the promotion and appointment of judicial officers?
Maybe you, Nazri Abdul Aziz, should go and read what Raja Petra Kamarudin has posted on the 9th of October 2007 in his Malaysia Today blog. You would later find that many beg to differ.
