Turkish Islamic clothing & fashion! What do you think of them?

Today’s poll topic should be of great interest to Malay Malaysian women. Majority of Malay Malaysian women here today actually go for contemporary fashion which is modern but yet not too shocking. Hence, it is to no surprise that a lot of the local fashion houses and boutiques especially those in the vicinity of Jalan Tun Abdul Rahman in KL are stocked with clothing and apparels imported from the Middle East.

Some of you may all ready knew that some of the clothing and apparels that you are wearing originates from Turkey. Turkish hijabs (over here you call them ‘tudung’), Jilbabs, Kaftans and Under-Scarf are very popular here. We have included a video on Turkish’s latest fashion trends right down below.

We are sure that you would notice that Turkish fashion is extremely colourful! Colors that are bold and brilliant are definitely the choice of Turkish women. Here in Malaysia though, women are not too comfortable with expressing themselves in such colors except for special occasions such as formal parties and functions.

Now that you have seen how Turkish women dress themselves, what do you think of their tastes in fashion? Is it suitable for our culture or otherwise? Please place your vote here.

turkish fashion are actually dull.. dark and unenergetic...

normally consists of dark colored trenchcoat-like dresses... their hijabs (ot tudungs) doesnt cover their chests...

the only things i've noticed on 'colourful' is actually only on their hijabs.. but hey, malaysian women do don on colourful tudungs everyday!

just a lil 2 cents frm me, cheers..
