When I first read the news, I knew somehow that somebody here in Malaysia would one day deliver the news as some kind of a secret bonus for our filthy rich and extremely greedy Malaysian business community.
I was right! Yesterday MalaysiaKini reported that the world’s nicest political figure had warned Malaysians that the current spike in the world oil prices might affect the nation’s mega billion dollar development projects. Not to mention that the government may be forced to once again hike the price of fuel next year. :-)
They are not really concerned about it. You’re a bloody fool to believe that. As matter of fact, the government and our filthy rich and extremely greedy business community are actually grinning from ear to ear! :-)
Once again, they have been given the opportunity to make more money. Our filthy rich and extremely greedy business community would definitely use the news as an excuse to hike the prices of their goods and services some day.
I would advise all Malaysians to follow the developments of the current world oil prices on regular basis. If the world oil prices continue to float above US$80 per barrel until the end of the year, you can expect that life would be more even horrendous for you next year. :-(
If the world oil prices continue to spike upwards, ‘naik gaji’ (pay rise) or not, our government servants (hamba kerajaan@khadam kerajaan) would realize next year that their last pay rise means nothing in the end. As for our workers in the private sector, their lives would even be more difficult next year. :-(
Well, this is what capitalism is all about. I’m pretty sure that the current Grandmaster of Capitalism George W Bush would be extremely ecstatic with the current upward trend of the world oil prices too. Good for you, Bush! Go and chase your money while you still can for your days as the American president are all ready numbered by your fellow Americans. That’s why your close friend Osama Bin Laden gave you his latest video recently. :-)
If only the world’s economy is based upon the Islamic economic principles. Only then life would be fair and pleasant for all mankind. It would one day for it has been prophesized!
