Malaysian government official is involved in the Pantai Batu Buruk incident?

Yesterday HarakahDaily published a story that really bugs me big time.

HarakahDaily reported that PAS Terengganu Commissioner, Dato’ Mustafa Ali is more than willing to come forward and put forth evidence that would link a high Malaysian government official with that bloody Pantai Batu Buruk incident! Dato’ Mustafa Ali also said that the Pantai Batu Buruk riot is a well planned devilish scheme orchestrated by some UMNO (the biggest political party in Malaysia) leaders!

Those are indeed serious allegations made against the current ruling government of Malaysia!

One thing though, Dato’ Mustafa Ali would only do so if a Royal Commission is established to investigate and look into the Pantai Batu Buruk incident. It is obvious that Dato’ Mustafa Ali does not believe that the incident would be given fair hearing and investigation by Malaysian authorities.

Yes, a lot of people had been pushing for an independent investigation to be set up to investigate events that had transpired in the Pantai Batu Buruk incident. Folks over at MalaysiaKini and Malaysia Today had also indirectly pushed for it almost on daily basis recently.

My question would be: Are we barking at the wrong tree?

If we really want to have an independent body to investigate the Pantai Batu Buruk incident, why should we even bother to tango with the authorities in the first place?

Why don’t we just go and seek intervention straight from the monarchy, straight from the Yang di-Pertuan Agong himself?

U asked,"Why don’t we just go and seek intervention straight from the monarchy..."

...but the monarchy is being kept in cold storage with his mouth plastered
only to be release for a couple of hours on auspicious occasions at the leisure of the gomen.

cheers.
