What happened to Malaysians today, huh? Please do not chicken out on issues that matters such as this. Are you satisfied by just complaining about the hardship of life among friends and colleagues in coffee shops and mamak stalls (Indian restaurants)? Malaysians made a lot of noises all right but they do not have the guts to shout it all out to the rest of the world. :(
What about you Malaysian Malay women, huh? You ladies made up the majority of workers in the private sector. Are you really that happy with those measly Malaysian Ringgit $500-700 (equivalent to US$140-200) monthly salaries? Come on now. You may have your wealthy (not everyone is that fortunate though) boyfriends and husbands to support you but you can’t just depend on others to feed you. Even if you are financially doing fine at the moment, who in the world can give you the guarantee that life would not get any worse tomorrow? The ruling government and their stupid economic policies have taken a lot from ordinary citizens like us, what is wrong by demanding or taking something back from them?
From what I was told, MTUC has some other tricks up their sleeve to help you chickens out there. By then, I sincerely hope that Malaysian Malay women would go out and stand up for your rights to live comfortably in numbers!
