The rumors that we have been hearing ever since yesterday were true after all!
Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has just made an announcement announcing his retirement plan to the whole world. He will hand over his hot seat to his blur-looking deputy (Najib la!) somewhere in 2010.
Do you really believe that Abdullah Ahmad Badawi will do that in 2010?
Sorry to say that I have serious doubts about his so called retirement plan. Don’t blame me for having doubts, blame Abdullah. His flip-flopping character is well known here. :-)
For all we know, this so called retirement plan of Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is probably nothing more than a desperate attempt to buy time. Perhaps Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is harboring secret hopes to salvage his tainted image and reputation in the next two years. You have to remember that a lot of things could happen in two years time. You may not like him today but who knows something might happen in the future that would change your mind about him. I won’t be surprised that you folks suddenly profess your love and affection for Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and want him to stay on as Prime Minister in 2010! :-)
Watch out, Malaysians! I smell something fishy here.
In the meantime, I would like to hear your opinions about his retirement plan. Feel free to participate in a simple online poll that I have prepared down below. It should be at the bottom of this post.
Thanks for participating!

I saw him on TV3 tonight and he looked so sad and tired. So much is happening right now. But why did he decide to retire in 2010?
