PAS and DAP have been around for ages, much longer than Parti Keadilan Rakyat but they were never in a hurry to establish an Islamic State (referring to PAS) or a Socialist State (referring to DAP). PAS and DAP have been very patient and smart in fighting their separate causes.
But let’s take a look at Parti Keadilan Rakyat, practically a new kid on the block (don’t mention that pathetic Nallakarupan’s party). Under the direct leadership of Anwar Ibrahim, PKR’s impatience in taking control of this country as shown recently is too damn obvious!
Why? I want you folks to think real deep about this.
All I can say right now is that there is something very wrong about our political scene and it doesn’t have to be all about UMNO or Barisan Nasional. Please do not ask me why I said that since I myself could not really pin it down.
We were angry and disappointed with Barisan Nasional in the past and some people may have taken advantage of our emotions to fulfill their secret plans. 2008 General Election has passed quite peacefully and now it is time for us Malaysians to make decisions based on intelligence rather than emotions. Perhaps we need more time to get to know the new Anwar Ibrahim (I will share my thoughts about this in future posts).
Abu Musa, may Allah be pleased with him, related:
Two of my cousins and I came to the Holy Prophet (may peace be upon him). One of them said: Messenger of Allah, appoint us rulers of some of the lands that the Almighty and Glorious Allah has entrusted to your care. The other also said something similar. He said: By Allah, we do not appoint to this position one who asks for it nor anyone who is covetous for the same.

Hello Peter...
I don't know but I still feel that there is something very wrong about our political scene.
Perhaps time will reveal some dark, ugly truths in the near future. Let us see what will transpire in the next few months.
Dear Madame !
There is everything that is right with what Dato Seri Anwar is doing and I hope and I know that he will achieve what he is working so hard to achieve. Dato Seri wants a multiracial society just like what we have in Australia. A truely equal society; and by the way from the rumblings of Ku Li, it appears that he too see the end of race based politics. To this extent, most Malays of the UMNO ilk are still living in the past.
I say it openly that the Chinese and to a limited extent the Indians have learned the strength of the SWING VOTE. I had touted this idea and have tried in every way to kindle a little light to this idea; and the effectiveness of this swing vote has contributed to the victory of 5 pre BN controlled state governments.
Chinese make up 24% and Indians 8% making it a total of 32%. In the case of the Malay voted you have 68% split up by Anwar's party vs UMNO. In this situation UMNO will always LOOSE to a Pakatan led coalition. THERE ARE STILL HANG OUTS IN PAS FOR AN ISLAMIC STATE, but as datin Seri Azizah said in a press conference, that is impossible under our present constitution because FREEDOM OF RELIGION IS ENTRENCHED. UMNO will not get the 3/4 majority to AMEND THE CONSTITUTION so datin Zaizah is absolutely correct !
The irony is that since March 8 the Chinese have come to have a strangle hold on the swing votes. I only hope that the Chinese & indians will know the power of the swing vote.
NOT IMPATIENT.. very patient.
The BN grubberment is strangling the 'opposition' states by all means - all is fair in love & war &.. elections.
If the states cannot be governed by all these sabotage whether it be money or resources - then it is no worth winning an election.
So anwar - you had better hurry up because this stale-mate is not better than the original hedgemony. or is that hedge-Money?
LOL.
