Human Rights Day or BN Rights Day?

So much for our International Human Rights Day, eh…

Today is the 10th of December and international community will observe Human Rights Day. They have been doing so every year ever since 1950, two years after the United Nations General Assembly (take note that it was UN and not UMNO or Barisan Nasional) adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948.

Well folks… That was the history behind the Human Rights Day. After what had happened yesterday, I guess we can now kiss our basic human rights goodbye for good. Thanks to our Malaysian authorities (I also blame HINDRAF for this!) and Barisan Nasional. :-(
