Do we still have democracy here in Malaysia?

Folks!

In view of past disturbing events that had happened in our beloved country lately, I would like to hear your opinions about it.

As of today, I’m running a new online poll (at the top of this post, right below my ‘Hadith of the month’ section) at the moment and I would like everyone to participate. The poll question is very simple. After considering all those past dreadful events that have fallen upon our Malaysian lawyers and BERSIH; to your opinion, what has the government done to democracy lately?

Do you consider their actions as a noble upholding of the principles of democracy or as a total rape and molestation of democracy?
