Congratulations, Syed Shahir!

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Syed Shahir Syed Mohamud of MTUC for retaining his presidency seat after winning the poll held during their Triennial Delegates Conference yesterday.

I’m glad that he won it because he truly deserves it. I really don’t like his deputy who challenged him for the presidency seat. His deputy sounds and behaves like some kind of a Barisan Nasional and UMNO sympathizer to me and our poor Malaysian workers working in the private sector certainly have no need for such people at the moment. MTUC must be led by a no-nonsense leader like Syed Shahir.
