I’m sure you folks all ready know that Al Jazeera did a little coverage of HINDRAF’s peaceful public assembly held yesterday. Maybe some of you folks have seen the official video (MalaysiaKini should consider embedding this video somewhere in their site) of their news coverage but to those who had missed it, I have provided it down below for you folks.

In the last big event (referring to BERSIH’s mass rally) Al Jazeera had interviewed our Information Minister on the phone to hear his side of the story. This time however, our Information Minister was nowhere in sight! I guess Zainuddin Maidin had failed miserably in his first outing (Was BERSIH’s mass rally was his maiden international damage-control test?) and he did not impress Al Jazeera at all. Well, we can’t blame Al Jazeera really, who wants to hear a stuttering Minister anyway?
Poor Barisan Nasional! I guess this month would live in infamy for them. I’m also sure that November 2007 would always be remembered by all Malaysians as the month where the common people suddenly rise from their deep slumber and make themselves noticed. When there is tyranny and oppression, the rise of the people seeking salvation is imminent. It is bound to happen sooner or later.
Do you understand that, Barisan Nasional?
I wonder how UMNO is taking this whole thing. Would they still have the confidence to chant ‘UMNO terus mara… Untuk rakyat Malaysia…’?

What I take exception to, is the comment from the Al Jazeera reporter that the Indians are marginalised by the "the malay muslim majority". It actually should read as the UMNO malay majority, as many malays are even worse off than the Indians. They are not all Zakaria Deros.
