Who is Datuk Pengelola Bijaya Diraja Istana Negara?

How are you doing today, folks?

I’m sure you folks know a little about the fellow (Datuk Pengelola Bijaya Diraja Istana Negara a.k.a Datuk Wan Mohd Safiain Wan Hasan) that held a press statement over in Istana Negara (MalaysiaKini has more on this) yesterday. Relax; I’m not going to bore you to death with a long background story on that fellow today. :-)

I had received an email from one of my trusted sources earlier today and the information that he (my very own Mr. Deep Throat) has for me was very interesting. His given information seems to support Raja Petra Kamarudin’s story that I had highlighted earlier in my previous post. He said that Datuk Pengelola Bijaya Diraja Istana Negara is indeed a member of UMNO and he even gave me Datuk Pengelola Bijaya Diraja Istana Negara’s MyKad IC and UMNO membership numbers! He told me to check on his story if I did not believe him.

I’m not the kind of person who accepts stories and allegations blindly. I did some investigations of my own and thanks to UMNO-Online Dot Com, I can vouch here today that the given information was correct. Datuk Pengelola Bijaya Diraja Istana Negara is indeed a member of UMNO, the world’s greatest political party. Please check out the following screenshots.

I got one question though. Is it ethically correct to place someone with a clear political affiliation with a political party over in Istana Negara?
