My American friends were fond of saying ‘Bling Bling’ whenever I chatted with them on Yahoo Messenger. I never did bother to ask them about it but today I finally understand what it was all about!
That ‘Bling Bling’ expression appeared when American teenagers have this sudden craze of sticking tiny and shiny crystals (It was actually started by those Hollywood superstars) arranged in numerous patterns on everyday items such as mobile phones, Ipods, belts, laptops, mirrors and so forth. I guess those American teenagers may have put those on everything that they have! :-) The video that I have provided down below should gives you folks some idea what this is all about.
I have taken a look at it online and personally I feel that it might not interest guys and boys. It should be hot with young ladies and girls though. I don’t know about you folks but I think it would great for developing creativity. Kids would have loads of fun playing with it.
While I’m on the subject, I might as well mention that whoever purchased Bling over at InstantBling Dot Com will be automatically entered to win a Hannah Montana (she’s hot at the moment) concert ticket. However, only one out of every 100th Bling owners would walk out with the free ticket. That would put the odds of winning at 1 in 100!
If you have any young daughters, you folks should check this out!

Bling Bling appears to be another commercial variation of the decorative (& quite expensive) 'new skin' for the cell/hand/mobile phone, etc.
To each their own Bling Bling! (especially the young)
