HarakahDaily today reported that the police have rejected BERSIH’s application to hold their huge mass rally this Saturday. News about this rejection however is not yet covered by MalaysiaKini as of time of writing. I guess they were quiet busy chasing ‘keris’ and celebrities today and did not have the time to cover this. :-)
Kuala Lumpur’s Chief Police Officer Dato' Zul Hasnan Najib Baharuddin said that the decision to reject BERSIH’s application was made for the good of the Malaysian public. Yeah, right! :-(
What is your next move now, BERSIH? Please share it with us!
Despite this setback, I can see that BERSIH, PAS and PKR are adamant in continuing their plan to hold the mass rally. Their persistence is admirable. InsyAllah, I would join them along with the rest of my Muslim NGO brothers and sisters on this coming Saturday.
Be there or be square, concerned Malaysians!

Hi Saidul,
As a Malaysian, may I be allowed for thanking you and your Muslim friends for taking this long trip just try to help us bring positive changes to Malaysia. I too am getting ready, have showed a member of my family how to sign into my bank account and transfer money into theirs so that they will have the money to bail me out of jail if that unfortunate happened. Plus I have all their mobil phone number written on the back of one of their name card. I told them we cannot just let others do all the dirty work and we ourself sit comfortably at home. We were both at the Long March for Justice but unfortunately did not get the chance to shake hands with you. I wonder if we would make it to the rally this time, and if we do, whether we will have the good fortune of bumping into each other so that at least we can chat a little in person.
Just one more thing which I hope you don't mind me commenting as I have been harping on this issue many times. I have previously provided 2 links to articles (Muslim majority Indonesia) which says an Islamic state (Caliphate) is not stated in the Quran. This don't seem to be the stand of other Muslim, and from your writings, I think that applies to you as well. Now you do not like the UMNO gangsters shoving things down your throat. What about Muslims trying to enforce an Islamic state upon non-Muslim over their objections. This apply not only to Malaysia, but it appear that some are trying to do that to the rest of the world as well. So far I have not got a satisfactory response from you on that except that you saying something about Islam bringing salvation to the world. The Christians are doing that too, but they are barred from trying in Malaysia by law.
Which mortal can judge which salvation is the true salvation when things like that are beyond ordinary folks like me to fathom. Perhaps you have our Creator speaking to you direct that the salvation you speak of is the true salvation and the rest are false, or lies as the UMNO gangsters are fond of calling what we put in our blogs.
