A lot of things have happened to HINDRAF today. Amazing!
First, three of their key figures that also happen to be great lawyers were detained under the horrifying Sedition Act and second, they were slapped with a massive Court Order! You can read all about it on MalaysiaKini folks. Such stories are their top headlines today!
Perhaps the government has learnt a thing or two after BERSIH had successfully held their mass rally on the 10th of November and now they no longer have any mercy for anybody!
Better watch out, folks! Barisan Nasional is on the rampage at the moment!
My friends and colleagues argued that such drastic maneuvers from the government were probably caused by external pressure, perhaps by the British government (British High Commission) themselves. Maybe so but we common people would have no means to confirm that for the time being.
Even though I’m not happy with the way HINDRAF fight their cause, I do feel sorry for them but at the same time I’m also curious to why the police detained their three key figures under the Sedition Act in the first place.
Was there something that we were not told of?
