Are you ready folks?
HarakahDaily today reported that the world’s greatest government may raise the price the premium fuel to an additional 0.70 cents as our ‘beneficial bonus’ after general election. The message was brought to you free of charge by the PAS Vice President Dato’ Paduka Husam Musam in a forum earlier today.
0.70 cents!?
That was his best guessed figures but we all know that fuel hike is imminent next year. We have been told and warned about it!
If the figures quoted by Husam Musa were correct, the price of premium fuel would finally break the RM2.00 barrier.
Yes! Yes folks! The ‘market’ is bullish all right. Too bad our fuel prices are not as flexible or volatile as our share market. It would be good if fuel prices went bearish once in a while but we all know that it would never happen here in our country. The government is all about 'Boleh Naik’ but never ‘Boleh Turun’.
Well, they can ‘Boleh Blah!’ (get lost) as far as I’m concerned. :-)
Fantastic, isn’t it? Next year people with small cars such as the deadly-but-economical Kancil would have to endure the pain of those having bigger cars today. Ten ringgit of fuel means nothing next year! Wonderful!
MalaysiaKini, do you have any economists in your team? What is your forecast and outlook for next year’s fuel hike?
I would consult with some fortune tellers and ‘talking parrots’ (got a lot of them here in Ipoh) about this and will come up with their reports some time soon. :-)
Stay tuned folks!
