In case that you have missed it, let me summarize some of their key points:

1. Our Conference of Rulers or Majlis Raja-Raja had initially agreed in principle that there is a need to set up a Royal Commission to investigate allegations that had arisen after the exposure of that sensational Lingam Tape video.
2. When the world’s nicest and kindest deputy prime minister heard that our Conference of Rulers has made such decision, he panicked and quickly announced the setting up of an Independent Panel without prior consultation with the prime minister and cabinet.
