Maybe he did! After all, he did give MalaysiaKini a free publicity and a well deserved compliment not so long ago. Check out this story in their article titled ‘Kuan Yew mentions MalaysiaKini in interiew’ posted yesterday.
Lee Kuan Yew was right. I have to admit it. You folks in MalaysiaKini have done good service to the nation. Well, maybe not to the eyes of Barisan Nasional Public Limited but we ordinary Malaysians truly acknowledge that.
To be honest, some Malaysians especially our Malaysian Malays (Melayu) still consider MalaysiaKini as some kind of an anti-Malay online alternative news provider. I’m a Muslim and a Malay too and I can vouch that MalaysiaKini writes for all Malaysians regardless of race and religion. You folks have been fair to all so far.
I know that one day MalaysiaKini may have to choose sides. Maybe one day this nation would be in some kind of a racial or religious turmoil and MalaysiaKini have no other choice but to take on a different path then. If you look at past world history, such event is inevitable. :-(
For the time being, let us all give MalaysiaKini a big pat on their back, folks! They have done a remarkable job! Keep it up, folks!
