I stumbled upon this very disturbing and appalling video uploaded a few days ago by someone known only as InvestigateIslam into YouTube. I have taken the liberty to include his offensive video down below.
For the time being, I can’t really comment much about the video or the person behind it because I simply do not have all the facts with me at the moment. If we take a look at this video, he is obviously not happy with something. He claimed that Malaysian authorities have blatantly destroyed a newly completed church somewhere in Kg. Jias. I’m afraid that the exact date and time of the so called demolition cannot be determined as of time of writing. Pardon my ignorance on the matter but I don’t even know where Kg. Jias is!
InvestigateIslam claimed that Kg. Jias is located somewhere in the district of Gua Musang. Can someone confirm this?
This video is definitely offensive and inappropriate for Muslims. Viewer discretion is advised |
Anyhow, I have discussed this matter with my Muslim NGO colleagues and we all agreed that this matter should be forwarded to our relevant Islamic Religious authorities. InsyAllah, they should be able to investigate this case further and later provide us with some kind of answers or explanations.
Before I go, I would like to condemn InvestigateIslam for having such a big and foul mouth. If your allegation is later proven to be true, I can understand why you are not happy with your case. For the time being however, you should shut your foul mouth up and stop calling us Muslims with offensive and appalling names. :-(
By the way InvestigateIslam, true Muslims are not scared of other religions because we have our Noble Quran. Our Noble Quran is our Guide and we are certainly not scared of silly ignorant people like you. You can throw us with some silly words, accusations, stones, rocks and even bombs. Just bring it on! Believe me; none of those acts of aggression would even make a dent in our strong faith in Islam.
Have you forgotten that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the whole wide world today?
'A'ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, reported:
Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: The most despicable among persons in the eye of Allah is the most obstinate opponent (or disputant).
Hadith number in Sahih Muslim [Arabic only]: 4821
Ibn 'Abbas's Hadith, may Allah be pleased with them.
Humaid bin 'Abdul-Rahman bin 'Auf reported that Marwan said to Rafi', his chamberlain, that he should go to Ibn 'Abbas and ask him: If every one of us be punished for his being happy upon his deeds and for his being praised for what he has not done, no body would be saved from the torment. Ibn 'Abbas said: What have you to do with this verse? It has been in fact revealed in connection with the People of the Book. Then Ibn 'Abbas recited this verse: (And remember) when Allâh took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) to make it (the news of the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW and the religious knowledge) known and clear to mankind, and not to hide it and then Ibn 'Abbas recited this verse: Think not that those who rejoice in what they have done (or brought about), and love to be praised for what they have not done Ibn 'Abbas (further) said: Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) asked them about something and they concealed it and told him something else and they went out and pretended that they had informed him as he had asked them and they felt happy for what they had concealed.
Hadith number in Sahih Muslim [Arabic only]: 4982

Hope you don't practice censorship and reject this comment. It is not an attact or insult on Islam. It is just a response to your statement that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. Want to know why?
1. All babies born to Muslim children are automatically Muslim by birth. No choice.
2. As practiced in Malaysia, once a Muslim, it is practically impossible to renounce the religion without getting death threat, forced rehabilitation, etc.
Re: Lina Joy and Revathi, etc.
Yes, I know enough of Islam to know that it is stated "In Islam, there is no compulsion". However, I would like to see your response to this statement and the 2 points raised above.
Other religion give a REAL freedom of choice, so obviously cannot grow as fast as Islam as they are (to the best of my knowledge) not born into a religion, but are free to chose when they come to an age when they can decide for themself. Catholics I think practice baby baptism, but are free to renounce their religion when they become adult. How about Islam (as practiced in Malaysia)?
Hi Saidul,
Hope I got spelled your name correctly. Thought I would draw your attention to this post which is I think a law student (Muslim too):
Can Islamic law be implemented in Malaysia?
Wonder if you and your learned friends (I read somewhere you have a group of scholars) would be interested to comment to her post. And also to schooljuffrouw's comment. It is more fun when blogs are interactive and you seem willing to engage in exchanges with non-Muslim (perhaps your learned friends too).
