The most popular Malay-related tag on Technorati is..

In the past, I never did give a damn about Technorati. That was then. I have a new hobby now and it is blogging. I’ve been blogging like mad for the past few weeks and nowadays I would visit Technorati at least once daily. If you are wondering what Technorati is in the first place; it is some kind of a web directory for bloggers and pod casters all over the world. If you are into blogging and pod casting, Technorati is a must-visit and a must-join website for you. Hope that explains it.

Okay now. At first, I didn’t really pay much notice to the subject in hand. But as I frequently visit Technorati day by day, the whole thing suddenly caught my attention and today I’m going to share it with every one of my readers out there.

Before that, have you ever visited Technorati before? If not, visit them now just for the sake of my posting today. Now, take a look at the big white box filled with tags or keywords in the right hand corner of your screen. That white box is actually called a ’tag cloud’ and it contains current top or popular tags (keywords) used or searched by Technorati’s users. The list is generated automatically by Technorati in real time.

Now if you look closely at the generated tags in the tag cloud, you would notice this one very popular Malay-related tag. Look at the image that I have provided. Can you see it? It would appear every single day without fail! This gives me the conclusion that the most popular Malay-related tag or keyword on Technorati is ‘Melayu bogel’!

To my non-Malaysian Malay readers out there, ‘Melayu bogel’ is a Malay word. If we translate it into English, it only means one thing and that is ‘naked Malay’. If you do a little checking of your own, you would find that this particular tag is tagged to thousands of photos, videos and blog postings and almost all of them have something to do with naked Malay women! How embarrassing! How humiliating!

I have looked into this one time ago and discovered that most of the photos, videos and blog postings tagged with ‘Melayu bogel’ can be found on Malaysian, Indonesian and Singaporean websites and blogs. Unfortunately, they are found more on Malaysian websites and blogs. :(

You think that this is a small issue? No! It is not! Let this whole thing really sink on you right now. Out of millions other possible tags or keywords, ‘Melayu bogel’ is the one that is dubbed among the most popular on Technorati. Isn’t that stupid? What would the rest of the world think of the Malay community now and in the future? Would they label us as a sick, sexually deprived and sexually hungry community?

To all of my Malaysian Malay women (wanita Melayu) readers, please be more careful with your daily routines and online activities. There are a lot of perverts out there preying upon innocent victims such as you. If you are not careful, you might end up being tagged as ‘Melayu bogel’ in the internet.
