govtweets is an easy of tracking live conversations that occur via twitter on the topic of the Democratic and Republican Presidential tickets for 2008. Instead of tracking conversation generators, govtweets tracks specific content that is being discussed by anyone on twitter. If you find a political twitterer particularly interesting, govtweets can help you discover them too.

This whole thing made me wonder why Malaysian politicians and socio-political bloggers didn’t use Twitter in the first place. Didn’t they realize that Twitter is more than just a micro-blogging tool?
Twitter is very powerful communication tool for public figures such as politicians and well known socio-political bloggers. They don’t have to be near a computer to start tweeting, they can tweet from their mobile phones. Believe me; Twitter can help them get their messages or opinions across with speed and precision!
I wonder what it would be like if Malaysian politicians and socio-political bloggers starts tweeting in the near future. Perhaps it would be something like this:
- @BloggerA Lame Cake See-Young said that I’m a stupid Malay.
- @PoliticianB No-War Be-Rock-Him is a freaking power-crazy nut. I can smell his nuttiness in Parliament.
