How to find peace: Are you reading too many Malaysian socio-political blogs?

Do you want peace and prosperity here in Malaysia?
Chant all together now; Yeah! Yeah!

Do you want to be free from that dreaded sense of hatred prevalent here in Malaysia?
Chant all together now; Yeah! Yeah!

Do you want to be free from that awful sense of anguish prevalent here in Malaysia?
Chant all together now; Yeah! Yeah!

Good! Good! Here is something that you could to help you solve Malaysia’s biggest problems; racial turmoil, hatred and anguish.

Stop reading Malaysian blogs that bang fellow Malaysians everyday as if we do not have any other concerns in the world today. Such bloggers are driven by extreme hate and I’m scared of their influence on our Malaysian society.

It doesn’t matter if you are a Muslim, Christian, Buddhist or Hindu. Go back and read your Holy Scriptures every day from today onwards. Just go back to your basics and leave all those hatred behind.

Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari, may Allah be pleased with him, reported:
Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: A believer who recites the Qur'an is like an orange whose fragrance is sweet and whose taste is sweet; a believer who does not recite the Qur'an is like a date which has no fragrance but has a sweet taste; and the hypocrite who recites the Qur'an is like a basil whose fragrance is sweet, but whose taste is bitter; and a hypocrite who does not recite the Qur'an is like the colocynth which has no fragrance and has a bitter taste.
Hadith number in Sahih Muslim [Arabic only]: 1328

Holy scriptures create more damage than blogs nowadays. There is nothing holy to speak about religion, it's all fake, religion is nothing more than big business.

UMNO has perfected the art of using religion to pull wool over the eyes of the faithful while they went for the booty. So, urging us to go back to read the scriptures instead of blogs will be akin to "keep those wool on". I regret to see some very unsavoury comments in blogsphere but I admit that it does open our eyes and generally brought more good. Look ‘The New Dawn ’ was partly brought about by blogging! Open thy eyes and ye shall see!

It is Good to read Scriptures as all Religions teach Good, but HELLO ~!
we still need to keep in touch w / the Real World by reading what our Contemporaries have to say ...

We R not the smartest person on earth, ... we need to learn from others, & with our basic principles & whatever religious guidance, we should be able to filter what we read ...

& pls don't say all Bloggers R on a hate-spate ... it's just like sayin' all religious people R child-abusers like the current issue somewhere in a desert in U.S.A. !!! Whether U read scriptures or bloggs, just OPEN yr eyes man !!

Hey there ccdev...

I do not appreciate vulgar comments; hence that is why your previous comment was not published. Do some editing from your side, make it more acceptable and resubmit. I will be more than happy to publish it when it’s done.

By the way, you Christians may think that Muslims are dumb and stupid but we are much smarter than you think. Remember, underdogs always have the last laugh. :-)
