Astounding!
Political analysts have all given their best analysis and thoughts about the astonishing results but only one truly matters to a Muslim and a Malay man like me. It is obvious, pretty obvious that racial-based politics are no longer relevant to all Malaysians. Racial-based politics have become obsolete and Barisan Nasional who has been playing with racial sentiments with the Malays, Chinese and Indians for so many decades paid the price very dearly.
Barisan Nasional was nearly banished by the multi-racial coalition front that has the right recipe at the very right time. PAS, PKR and DAP look and sound genuine and they have certainly proven that in the last few years. Yes, they are nothing but a few groups of common Malaysians that got together to bring hope and salvation to the people of this beloved nation and other Malaysians who have been watching from the sidelines in the last few years finally realize that in 2008. Alhamdulillah!
If we go by what is going on down the streets, mamak stalls and coffee shops all across the country, this new sudden interest and faith in multi-racial political parties such as PAS, PKR and DAP will only gets stronger and stronger. Of course they would have some hiccups on the way up but they will sort things out and come out better and stronger. InsyAllah… I have faith in them!
As for Barisan Nasional, it is time for them to accept the ugly truth that they are facing natural death in the next few years, possibly and many had predicted in 2012!
I’m a Muslim and a simple Malay man who wants nothing other than a better future for our kids. We have a lot of good Muslim Malays in UMNO and I want them to read between the lines here in this post.
UMNO like Barisan Nasional is facing extinction. Please do not waste your time with UMNO any longer. Leave UMNO and go for something better. PAS is a very good party for all Malaysians (no doubt a lot of people will object this… :-( ) for PAS glorifies our Noble Quran, Hadiths and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (saw@pbuh). Muslims, good Muslims should find solace and comfort in PAS and I strongly urge existing UMNO members to leave their pointless agendas in UMNO and join PAS as soon as possible.
Let UMNO perish on its own. Stop fighting for something that is destined to die.

My maiden visit....ehem...I am a simple malay man....u got me there.Your call to UMNO is timely.Iwas given a life membership to MCA for some donation I gave. I never participated in any function and did not belong to any constituency. I snapped in two the lifemembership card and threw it onto the street. People in UMNO have a varied choice....I rather they join parties that are still race-based like DAP. that is what I asked Jeff to do when he joined DAP....make it more colourful....currently only one color and in Malaysia we do not need that.
