PKR & DAP Perak - More than meets the eye

I must say that I’m right darn disappointed to hear that Parti Keadilan Rakyat made the decision to not contest any seat in the Kinta Valley especially Ipoh which happens to be my hometown.

I’m sure you think that PKR made such a decision with an open heart. Not really, they had to make such a decision because DAP branches here in Perak are so damn stubborn. A while back you have read in one of the news reported in MalaysiaKini highlighting a case where another party accused DAP of being arrogant. Well, it is true at least here in Ipoh and of course Perak. PAS Perak knew about his long time ago and they don’t want to bother wasting their time arguing with DAP Perak.

My hearts are with the opposition political parties especially PAS and PKR. I’m not so sure about DAP. I have my doubts about them even though I have tremendous amount of respect for Mr. Lim Kit Siang. Not so sure about the rest though.

Perhaps DAP has been fighting far too long that they have forgotten about diplomacy. DAP especially their branches in Perak must learn to be more diplomatic, compromising and considerate. If they failed to do that, don’t expect other races especially the Malays to go and support them in future elections.
