Friday Special – Four groups of people?

Alhamdulillah… Praise to Allah for today is Friday and I have the opportunity once again to dish out my weekly Friday Special segment.

I do not have any particular topic in mind but I would like to share something that I had stumbled upon a few days back. I came across a very interesting posting over at ImranHosein Dot Org and let us see what it is all about. Mind you, the posting might be a little bit disturbing for some folks. So please read it with an open mind. The posting said, quote:
The esteemed Shaikh and spiritual luminary of early Islam, Shaikh 'Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani (may Allah have mercy on him), once described mankind as comprised of four kinds of people.

The first are those who have Allah Most High neither on their tongues nor in their hearts. Today's godless and secular Euro-world-order that has largely embraced materialism is constantly producing such people. They are a people who, despite intelligence and expertise, have a status equivalent to "cattle". The Shaikh advised that, other than to invite them to the religious way of life, believers in Allah Most High should stay away from such people.

The second are those who have Allah Most High on their tongues but not in their hearts. They are the worst and most dangerous of men. And they produce a stench that envelops those who kept their company. Believers should therefore avoid such people the way that they would avoid a plague. Yet these are the men who have today become leaders of the world, and even of Muslim communities, even here in Trinidad.

The third is comprised of those who have Allah Most High in their hearts but not on their tongues. They were the sincere but silent servants and friends of Allah Most High. The Shaikh advised that believers should keep their company and help and support them in whatever way possible - for such conduct would earn Allah's pleasure and blessings.

Finally there are those who have Allah Most High both on their tongues as well as in their hearts. They are the best of all men. A man who belongs to that category would be a prince among men. I was the student of such a man. The Shaikh warned that no one should ever stand in the way of such a man to obstruct him or to wage war against him. The consequences of such conduct would be utterly disastrous.”

Interesting, isn’t it? If we go by what has been said by the outspoken Perak Mufti Dato’ Seri Dr Hj Harussani Zakaria one time ago, there were more than 100,000 (the number then rose to 250,000!) Malaysian Muslims where most of them were believed to be Malaysian Malays (Melayu) have committed apostasy (murtad). May Allah Bless and Protects you brother Dato’ Seri Dr Hj Harussani for your courage and boldness in exposing this scourge to the attention of all Muslims in Malaysia. In the context of this posting, those apostates have now allied themselves with the first group as categorized by Shaikh 'Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani. :-(

Sad, isn’t it? :-( What about the rest of the Muslims in Malaysia then? Where do they stand? If we go by what has been shown by our young smart-but-empty-inside ‘mat saleh’ (westerner) wannabe Muslims (teenagers), they look more like those mentioned in the second group. They know all about Islam all right. They talked about it with such vigor but unfortunately their hearts are empty. :-(

Where was UMNO during that time? The so called savior of the Malaysian Malays and Islam surprisingly down played the allegation made by the Perak Mufti. Where do you stand UMNO? With Islam or your bloody business interests? Bloody hell! :-(

To brother Dato’ Seri Dr Hj Harussani, one time ago you gave a speech to thousands of Muslims in a gathering. In the middle of your speech, you broke into tears for you were saddened with the fact that many of our Muslim community and political leaders gave you some nasty backlashes on the allegation that you have made. I don’t know whether you realized it or not but thousands of other Muslims who were there cried too. I was there myself and I had tears in my eyes too. Be strong brother Dato’ Seri Dr Hj Harussani! There are many concerned Muslims here in Malaysia and we really do appreciate what you have done. You will always have our support! Do not be intimidated by those ignorant fools.

Just do what you do best. Spread the truth and glorify Islam in the Name of Allah.

Great Nasheed! Quite relevant with the subject in hand
