The sheer stupidity of Malaysian government under the rule of UMNO and Barisan Nasional!
Don’t they know that imposing such laws is a direct violation of basic human rights? So what if their lawmakers defect to our political opposition parties? What is wrong with that?
This is further proof that UMNO and Barisan Nasional is all about cronyism. Then again, politics is a dirty game and those who play politics can neither be trusted nor ignored. Malaysians may only see cronyism in the likes of UMNO and Barisan Nasional but things might be different in the next few years. DAP and PKR most likely will be accused of practicing cronyism one day. Mark my words.
So, this is the sort of democracy that you people out there are so proud of, eh? :-)
Usamah bin Zaid, may Allah be pleased with him, reported:
I heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: A man will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and thrown in Hell-Fire and his intestines will pour forth in Hell and he will go round along with them, as an ass goes round the millstone. The denizens of Hell would gather round him and say: O so and so, what has happened to you? Were you not enjoining us to do what was good and forbid us to do what was evil? He will say: Of course, it is so; I used to enjoin (upon people) to do what was good but did not practice that myself. I had been forbidding people to do what was evil, but practiced it myself.
