The StarOnline today reported that the Works Ministry has completed their unholy working paper on the toll rates currently posed by eight toll concessionaires. The working paper would be submitted to the attention of the world’s greatest Cabinet somewhere this week. Take note that the existing toll rates could be revised next year in January.
Yes folks! The much dreaded Vellu Rates saga has come back to haunt us once more. I’m not that surprised since I know that such event is a regular annual ‘religious’ festival for Barisan Nasional. :-)
Bad news indeed! Poor Malaysians would definitely sigh in discontentment upon hearing such news. I was told that lovers and worshippers of Barisan Nasional who love price hikes and toll hikes might receive the news with extreme happiness. I suppose their prayers would be answered soon. They would soon be able to give out more money to their political idols!
I would like to ask those folks over at the Sun newspaper, MalaysiaKini and HarakahDaily to look into this matter as soon as possible. Please submit a request to the Works Ministry to give you folks an exclusive sneak preview on the completed working paper. Tell them that we Malaysians cannot wait to hear the wonderful news!
Poodah!
