Who can forget our Human Resources Minister? The champion or savior of our filthy rich plus extremely greedy business community and cold-blooded employers is very much in our daily thoughts.
His predecessors were never as glamorous as Dr. Fong Chan Onn. Dr. Fong Chan Onn on the other hand has made headlines lately due to his superb ability to piss off our Malaysian workers in the private sector in regular basis. For an example, he was last mentioned in MalaysiaKini on the 23rd of October 2007. In that report, it seems that Dr. Fong Chan Onn had pissed off NUBE (National Union of Bank Employees) and they have lodged a police report against him. Dr. Fong Chan Onn all ready has hundreds of police reports made against him but whatever did happen to all of them?
Where are the investigations?
To this very day, I still could not understand fully why Dr. Fong Chan Onn did not get that much attention from our hard-hitting local bloggers. He might not have been alleged to be involved in corruptions or cases of embezzlement of public funds but what he did was probably worst than those normally done by thieves and corrupters. He is alleged to be a genuine power abuser that abuses his given power to further inflict unnecessary pain and sufferings to our poor workers especially in the private sector. Dr. Fong Chan Onn is a member of MCA (another racist-based political party) anyway and we all know that MCA is made off filthy rich business tycoons and towkays.
What can we expect from business tycoons who were given the mandate to lead the Human Resources Ministry?
I am a small time businessman now but that doesn’t mean that I have forgotten all about Dr. Fong Chan Onn. I was an ordinary worker in the private sector one time ago and I can still remember the pain that I have to endure then. It was horrific! I believe that it is even worst nowadays and I really do feel sorry for those working in the private sector. Unlike those in the public sector who are well pampered with perks and benefits, our workers in the private sector are at the mercy of their employers. It is indeed terrible! The plight of our workers in the private sector is no better than our foreign workers. Perhaps our Human Resources Ministry should consider abolishing employment and introduce slavery in the private sector instead.
Hmm… Slavery, how about it, Dr. Fong Chan Onn?
Dr. Fong Chan Onn just might be remembered and immortalized in our national history as the most inconsiderate and inhumane Human Resources Minister ever. Perhaps one day people would build a big tall statue of him somewhere in Putrajaya to commemorate this excellent effort in bringing chaos and pandemonium to our Malaysian workers.
Keep it up, Dr. Fong Chan Onn!
