Who is the toughest and boldest Malaysian Malay woman?

Well, folks. Dato’ Seri Rafidah Aziz is my nomination for Malaysia’s toughest and boldest Malay woman (wanita Melayu)! She is currently Malaysia’s Minister of International Trade and Industry, a position that she has held ever since 1986 if I’m not mistaken. She is also currently the number one woman in the Women’s Wing of United Malay National Organization, Malaysia’s biggest political party.

I’m not exactly a big fan or a staunch supporter of the Malaysian political scene but I do have tremendous amount of respect for this iron lady. She breathes fire and when she talks, she practically rocks the whole nation! There is a myth in the political scene here saying that the Malaysian opposition political parties dare not face Dato’ Seri Rafidah Aziz in any open debates. I don’t know whether this is true or otherwise but one thing for sure, she’s an excellent public speaker and debater! She breathes fire all right and I personally admire her bold courage. How I wish that we could have more Malaysian Malay women to be like her.

What about you readers out there? Who in your opinion is the toughest and boldest Malaysian Malay woman? I hope that you are not going to name Erra Fazira, okay. :)
