2008 fuel price hikes in the US, what made Americans different than silly Malaysians?

Have you taken some time to view the above two videos?

Anyone wonders why those Americans are not any issuing any threats to hold nationwide protests about their fuel price hikes to their government like what some silly Malaysians are planning to do next coming July (refer to MalaysiaKini for more details)?

This is because they are much smarter than silly Malaysians. Americans know that there is nothing that they can do about it since it is beyond their control. Instead of protesting about fuel price hikes, those Americans have forced their government and respective employers to give them direct financial aids and they will continue to do so until Kingdom come. After their Great Depression, the United States have a very organized welfare system that provides a little bit of hope for the poor and homeless. I know this might sounds strange to silly Malaysians (especially to our filthy rich business community) but it is quite common for American business community to provide annual charities and financial reliefs to selected group of poor Americans. I might as well mention that American business community is required to perform such charitable activities every single year under their law!

What can you silly Malaysians learn from all this? Well, it is you who wanted to believe that western democracy and capitalism is perfect and beautiful, isn’t it?

Well, follow what have been done by those Americans. Tap on the awesome power of democracy to force our Hadharian Malaysian government, filthy rich Malaysian business community and of course your employer to provide you with some kind of financial aid that goes straight to your pocket.

You can start by joining MTUC in their fight to get minimum wages/salary schemes and COLA (cost of living la silly!) allowances for our desperate and panic stricken working class Malaysians. :-)
