Imran Nazar Hosein on Dajjal@Antichrist

This subject is 100 times better than those concerning Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Najib, Mahathir, Anwar Ibrahim and even Lim Kit Siang. Then again, I don’t expect you folks out there to share my passion in such subject. We all know that you folks love to see Muslims bashing fellow Muslims and Malays bashing fellow Malays here and there in Malaysia. :-)

Imran Nazar Hosein is a well known Muslim scholar that has written many thought provoking books not only for Muslims but also for people of other religions in the world. His best book undoubtedly was ‘Jerusalem in the Qur'an - An Islamic View of the Destiny of Jerusalem’ and I have to say here that I have a personal copy of it right here at home.

Prof. Dr. Malik Badri, Dean of the International Institute for Islamic Thought and Civilization in Kuala Lumpur had this to say about the book mentioned earlier:

‘Finally, I am amazed by Imran's style of writing. Though Jerusalem in the Qur'an, is a meticulously written thesis combining religious and historical documents with recent political events and penetrating interpretations from the Qur'an and Hadith, it runs like a story. Once you begin reading it, it is hard to stop. This is the general quality of a novel. The person would read it once and throw the book away - but not that of a serious thought-provoking dissertation like the book that Brother Shaikh Imran published. It is a reference that one needs to keep and reread whenever the subject is to be researched. I believe that this eloquence of the Shaikh must be the result of a natural gift that has interacted with his indefatigable work as a preacher and da'iyah and the Divine Blessings for his sincerity.’

Of course, it would be impossible for me to summarize things mentioned in Imran Nazar Hosein’s book. However, somebody has uploaded a very long video on Google Video featuring a lecture given by Imran Nazar Hosein himself a few years back. His lecture was all about Dajjal@Antichrist, the main subject in his ‘Jerusalem in the Qur'an - An Islamic View of the Destiny of Jerusalem’ book. The video is right there down below and I strongly recommend all Muslims and Christians to view it today. It is very thought provoking and should be discussed further with other Muslim or Christian clerics, according to your respective religion of course. You don’t have to believe his suggestions or ideas; just draw your own conclusion after hearing him.
