Americans have air ambulance services in all 50 states!

Folks! Do you know that United States of America has air ambulance services in all of their 50 states?

Well, I know that they have a few since we have seen them on our television channels before but I didn’t know that they have at least one in every state. I got to know this today after stumbling upon AirAmbulance Dot Net. It seems that AirAmbulance Dot Net is some kind of a hub of information for Americans to find air ambulance services and I’m glad to say that I learned a few new things from this site today.

Do you even know what air ambulance service is all about?

Let’s just say that those involved in air ambulance services are experts in medical flight. It provides air transportations for patients accompanied by well trained Flight Nurses and Flight Paramedics on board air ambulances equipped with state of the art medical equipments. Aircrafts must first get approvals from FAA before they can be flown as air ambulances. Suffice to say that air ambulance services in the United States can take care of patients from Basic to Critical Care.

Now, when can we have similar service running here in Malaysia? Those folks in our Malaysian Health Ministry should look into this possibility some time soon.
