Featured Letter: Malaysian PM is not Fair to All

Note:
I have quite a following on this blog and many have sent letters via email voicing their inner voices. It is only right for me to let the rest of you readers hear them. InsyAllah… I will feature more letters in the near future.

After the GE2008 the Barisan Nasional was dealt with a severe blow of hefty defeat in the hands of the Opposition. A strong and clear message was delivered to the ruling coalition to seriously look into the needs of all Malaysians irrespective of race and creed. The GE2008 is also a monumental historic event in Malaysia that reflected the unity of the Malays, the Chinese and the Indians is not far-fetched.

After the GE2008, the Malaysian Prime Minister has again vouched that he is the Prime Minister of all races and will be fair to all. However, everyday, in the mainstream pro-government tabloids, we read about the sore losers like UMNO members been staging demonstrations here and there and some even raise issues that can incite racial hatred! But the Barisan Government and its leaders have not even step-forward to warn their members that street demonstration is not our culture. Will the water canons and tear-gas be aimed at these lawless perpetrators? We can dream on! The Barisan government has condoned these rascally act, we can only confirmed once again that the Barisan Government is not a government of all Malaysians but the instrument of UMNO to incite hatred among different races in Malaysia to advance their political cronyism to further embroil in corrupt practices without any check.

It was so different when the Bersih and Hindraf held peaceful march to voice their needs to the government that was otherwise unheard by the powers in governing. These peaceful and law abiding common folks, united with one aim, without inciting racial hatred and blood-shed, was cruelly being challenged by the pro-government police force with water-canons, tear-gas, and arrest under ISA. The worst scenario in the history of Malaysia in curbing racial unity, bullying the weak and helpless as well as ignoring the needs of common folks.

Badawi, I beg that you will openly come forth to give us an acceptable explanation so that we can trust you again. Our rating for you and your cabinet is far below zero.
