Bank Negara Malaysia forecast higher inflation for 2008

Bank Negara Malaysia’s latest forecast is nothing new. Higher inflation for 2008 was well anticipated by Malaysians ever since last year. You folks should see what will happen when Abdullah Ahmad Badawi announces another fuel hike in the next few months. :-)

By the way Bank Negara Malaysia, stop blaming domestic inflation on external economic factors. Malaysia is a very rich country and should be able sustain itself and perform better than Singapore.
