At last Perak has a Menteri Besar/Chief Minister

Congratulations to Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin, he was finally sworned in as Perak’s new Menteri Besar/Chief Minister at noon earlier today in Kuala Kangsar. :-)

I heaved a big sigh of relief after hearing that his sworn-in ceremony went through without a hitch since there were plenty of rumors out there saying that UMNO and their evil empire is out to ‘ruin’ the ceremony. Stop it, UMNO Perak. Stop behaving like a bunch of sore losers. Give our opposition parties the chance to manage Perak. It is time for you to watch and learn!

By the way, UMNO Perak, do you know that the announcement of a waiver for all compound notices and parking summonses issued by local councils in the state up till Monday by Perak’s new Menteri Besar/Chief Minister was greeted with cheers and happiness by all Perakians?

When was the last time you gave us such relief and happiness to the people of Perak?
