Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s new cabinet on Newstex

Yawn… Sorry to say that Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s new cabinet lineup is not convincing enough for me.

Like many other Malaysians, I’m also surprised to see that Abdullah Ahmad Badawi had given Muhammad Muhd Taib a new lease of life as Minister of the Rural and Regional Development Ministry. This is weird and pretty much appalling. No doubt Raja Petra Kamarudin of Malaysia Today blog will be furious after hearing Muhammad Muhd Taib’s new appointment!

His last cabinet that he had introduced way back in 2004 had failed miserably, far from being ‘Cemerlang, Gemilang & Terbilang’. What Abdullah Ahmad Badawi hopes to accomplish with this brand new cabinet lineup now?
