The ugly side of democracy! Enslaving our poor workers to the fullest!

I read with great interest two articles published by MalaysiaKini Dot Com and EnglishSection Dot Com. Both of them were highlighting the same local issue, the tabled amendments by the powers that be to two existing labour laws that many considered as nothing more than bullshits.

EnglishSection Dot Com has this to say about these newly tabled amendments that would be discussed and finalized in parliament in August 27th, quote:
The amendments according to veteran labour lawyers are lopsided and regressive and violate basic human rights as enshrined in the Malaysian constitution and run contrary to the United Nations Charter.”
Please do not ask me what this is all about. I’m too disgusted to say anything about it. You can read all about it from the links that I have provided earlier.

I’m really pissed! I’m really upset with all this! The age of globalization has revealed the true colors of democracy all over the world. Poor Malaysians in particular now realized that democracy is nothing but crap! Democracy is not about the people. Democracy is not about justice and fairness. It is all about the powerful minority who monopolized and plundered the nation’s economy. It is all about that small elite group of filthy rich and ultra powerful business community. They are the new Pharaohs of the 20th century. Democracy is all about them!

Who the hell is running our Human Resources Ministry anyway? Commies? Only communists would have the heart to do such things to our poor Malaysians. :-(

What would happen to our future generations?

What would happen to the children playing in our playgrounds today in the near future?

Do they even have a future here in Malaysia?

Would they one day be workers treated with respect or plain bloody slaves treated like dogs?

Maybe next year we should give a new name to that much celebrated Labour Day. Why don’t we start calling it Slaves’ Day instead! :-(
